Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. Lennox lived on a student allowance and took off on a part-time job to supplement her funds. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents weren't as good as those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative options she could pursue. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. But she quit before the band went on I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. She was the main vocalist of The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera, a collection four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. First album of hers, Now I'm Letting You go... It is an accompaniment to her installation of artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a singer-songwriter. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to become famous internationally in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. In 1992, Lennox started her own solo career, releasing her debut album Diva that produced a number of hit songs includingWhy andWalking in Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 includes cover versions of tracks including No MoreI Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. The six solo studio albums as well as her compilation album have a lot of hits.
