Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son of Richard McCormick. Her father was a teacher as did her mother, who was a housewife. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick was an accomplished singer and performer from an early age. She would put on shows with puppets to entertain her friends. Her rise to fame as a fairytale began when she was crowned her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest in the age group of 6 which led to being contacted by an agent for talent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who inquired if she would like to work in show business. McCormick was chosen to play in her first major part in 1964, in a tv commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year, she starred for another firm's Chatty Cathy Doll and was immediately selected for the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, who was selected from over 200 auditioned kids, played the oldest of three double-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969), starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The five-year run of The Brady Bunch was an enormous successful one. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in 2008. In it she revealed that McCormick almost lost her virginity on sets of the show in its fifth season to Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick disclosed in her book Heres the story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice that during season five of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to actor Barry Williams. This would have occurred, she says. The timing of our romance wasn't right.
